More than just origin
We carry New Zealand’s most extensive range of green coffee for home roasters — including harder-to-find and more distinctive and exotic origins. But it’s not just about variety.
We started on our own coffee journey in 2015, after discovering how bad black coffee was at various coffee shops. It dawned on me that cafes, etc, selling coffee was all about one or two shots of coffee, and then a mug full of milk and sugar. With that, you could literally be drinking anything, and this type of coffee, which is prevalent today, really does not showcase anything about the coffee other than having a little bit of latte art on the top of the cup.
Coffee is about intesity, flavour, aroma and taste sensation.
The world of coffee is massive. There are thousands of varieties of coffee, and we only see a small selection available here in New Zealand. Whilst we do stock some standard coffee varieties, it's all about the flavour and the experience of something unique and personal.
Africa
Bright, vibrant and layered — coffees from Africa are known for their expressive fruit, floral aromatics, and tea-like elegance.
Expect notes of berry, citrus, stone fruit and delicate florals, often paired with lively acidity and a clean, refined finish.
Ideal for adventurous coffee drinkers and lighter roast lovers seeking clarity, complexity and brightness.
Asia-Pacific
Rich, bold and full-bodied — coffees from this region offer depth, earthy sweetness, and a smooth, lingering finish.
Expect notes of dark chocolate, spice, molasses and roasted nuts, often with heavier body and lower acidity.
Ideal for darker roasts and those who prefer richer, more comforting flavour profiles.
South America
Smooth, versatile and crowd-pleasing — South American coffees offer a beautiful balance of sweetness, body and fruit.
